Stray

Formed in West London in 1966 by Del Bromham whilst he was still at school, STRAY went on to grace the UK and European charts when they released their self-titled debut album in 1970.

Since then, they have produced 12 studio albums, 6 live albums, 8 Best Of / Greatest Hits albums, two live concert videos and had countless tracks featured on various artists albums around the world.

They have toured the world, supported Iron Maiden who covered "All in Your Mind" their first single taken from their debut album! On top of this they have been the special guests on the debut UK tours for both Kiss and Rush, been invited out to Japan by a leading record label just to record a live album, and have played just about every major UK festival with the exception of Glastonbury.

The BBC Encyclopedia of Rock says of Stray’s lead guitarist Del Bromham: “Rock history should be rewritten and Bromham included with the likes of Clapton, Page and Beck”. Indeed, in 2001 he was awarded the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Music’ at the Newark Blues Festival.

Their career retrospective, released by Esoteric Records in 2021, was voted into the top 25 of the best album re-releases.

The band now features Simon Rinaldo from Pearl Handled Revolver (keyboards), Del Bromham (lead guitar & vocals), Karl Randall (drums), Colin Kempster (bass), and Pete Dyer (guitar & vocals). Many fans claim that the present band line-up is possibly the best they have ever heard, and their recent live shows certainly seem to confirm that!

STRAY will be playing a selection of songs taken from their albums throughout the years. They will also be including songs from their latest studio album 'About Time', which was released in 2024 to great critical acclaim.

Del Bromham has had his autobiography published
entitled 'Rock and Roll Survivor' (Wymer Publishing).
